Starting a business is a huge decision for any entrepreneur. The very regulated food manufacturing industry presents even more challenges for the entrepreneur with a great food idea or recipe to take to marker. The University of Nebraska Food Processing Center offers unique assistance for entrepreneurs that want to take on this challenge. The Center’s nationally recognized Food Entrepreneur Assistance Program is for anyone interested in starting a food business.
The program begins with a one-day seminar. The From Recipe to Reality seminar assists attendees in understanding how the food industry operates, the decisions they will need to make before they even get started and the challenges they will encounter as they develop and grow their business. The seminar is offered many times throughout the year in various locations, including Chicago on August 15th.
