The Veterans War Memorial located outside the Northwest (Copernicus) Regional Center at 3160 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, 60618, will be re-dedicated on Friday, May 30th at 10 am. The public is invited to attend this memorable and informative event, especially all veterans and their family members. The cost of the new plaque and its installation is being generously donated by Park National Bank. After the ceremony, the senior center will host an information fair for veterans from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm to provide information about available services, benefits and programs. Some of the agencies providing this information at the fair are the Veterans Benefits Administration, the Chicago Veterans Resource Center and the Illinois Department of Veterans. Refreshments will be served.

El monumento a la Memoria de los Veteranos de Guerra, localizado en el exterior del Centro Regional Noroeste (Copernicus) en el 3160 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, 60618, será rededicado el viernes, 30 de mayo, a las 10 a.m. Se invita al público a que asista a este memorable e informativo evento, especialmente a todos los veteranos y los miembros de su familia. Después de la ceremonia, el centro senior ofrecerá una feria informativa para los veteranos, de las 10:30 a.m. a la 1:00 p.m., para brindar información sobre los servicios, beneficios y programas disponibles. Algunas de las agencias participando en la feria son: La Administración de Beneficios al Veterano, el Centro de Recursos de los Veteranos de Chicago y el Departamento de Veteranos de Illinois.
