Bulk Drop Distribution
Field Verification
During the period of November 19-25, 1998, a Distribution Field Verification was conducted to verify distribution of LAWNDALE NEWS by observing number of copies dropped and number remaining, at randomly selected bulk drops, shortly before new copies were delivered the next week. Of the total dropped for the Thursday edition, we found that 97.2% were picked up by consumers and that 2.8 were not picked up. For the Sunday edition we found that 93.7% were picked up and 6.3% remained.
