On Monday, October 1, 2012, the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI) will be having its inaugural Hispanic Heritage Month fundraiser. Through the generosity of Primera Group Inc., NLEI will be holding this event at the Cantina Laredo, located at 508 N. State, from 6-8 pm. As you may know, Cantina Laredo is a popular River North restaurant that offers authentic and gourmet Mexican food in a sophisticated atmosphere. NELI guests will enjoy delicious food, a 2-hour open bar and live entertainment with a salsa band and mariachis. In addition, the fundraiser will include a live auction.
