In honor of Latino Hispanic Heritage Month, the Circuit Court of Cook County will host two-days of tours of the Richard J. Daley Center Courthouse on September 29 and September 30th.

“The Annual Latino Hispanic Heritage Month Courthouse Tours are part of the court’s year-round Community Heritage Month Courthouse Tour series which coincide with observances that celebrate racial and ethnic diversity. The tours help the court to reach out to Cook County’s many diverse communities hoping to increase understanding of how the legal system works and to ensure that opportunity to view how court functions firsthand is available to everyone,” said Circuit Court of Cook County Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans. Now in their 15th year, the tours have been attended by thousands of Cook County residents.

Located at 50 West Washington Street in Chicago, the Daley Center is the main courthouse for the Circuit Court of Cook County, one of the nation’s largest unified court systems. Individuals or groups planning to attend the Annual Latino Hispanic Heritage Month Courthouse Tours should contact Milissa Pacelli, of the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Public Affairs Office, at 312-603-1927 on or before Wednesday, Sept. 24th.
