Northwestern University Researchers Looking for Participants

Last week Cicero Town Board President Larry Dominick issued a proclamation announcing April 20 as the “Town of Cicero National Children’s Study Day.” The National Children’s Study launched in Cook County last fall and began its outreach efforts in Cicero this week. The study, conducted by Northwestern University researchers, follows women and their children from before birth to age 21 to understand how family history and a child’s environment interact to influence children’s health and development.
