While most of us are looking to lose weight, unfortunately many of us are not successful. However, “there is a healthy, fast and permanent weight loss solution,” says Dr. Chang Han, a Chiropractic Physician and Certified Acupuncturist at Ideal Family Health Center. “Our individualized weight loss plan utilizes a holistic and natural approach. It normally includes acupuncture, which has been proven effective in decreasing appetite and increasing the metabolism.”

According to Dr. Chang Han, acupuncture targets specific pressure
points on the body to relieve pain in the back, neck, head and even in the joints. “We combine acupuncture with physical and massage therapy and other treatments as needed by the individual patient to most effectively alleviate pain,” explains Guadalupe Franco, a licensed Massage Therapist at the Ideal Family Health Center.

Ideal Family Health Center, 55 W. Golf Rd. in Arlington Heights, is offering free acupuncture treatments with only an optional $10 donation on Friday, June 3 from 9am-7pm. Space is limited. The funds received will be donated to Hispanocare – a non-profit health care organization, which has been serving the Hispanic community for over 20 years.
