Accenture and City Colleges of Chicago Team to Provide Students with the Skills to Succeed

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationAccenture is teaming with City Colleges of Chicago for the second year in a row to offer students a series of job readiness workshops, arming them with the skills they need to develop a career in an increasingly competitive market. The workshops are an example of City Colleges’ larger effort to connect students with Chicago business leaders to ensure they are prepared to attract employers and be successful in their careers. They are also part of Accenture’s “Skills to Succeed” initiative, which will equip 250,000 people around the world by 2015 with the skills needed to get a job or build a business.

The next Accenture workshop is scheduled for March 29 and will offer City Colleges students lessons on how to build a professional online presence and dressing for success. Accenture will host the final session for City Colleges students on April 20. Students can register for the next two workshops at accenture.eventbrite.com.
