The Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) is inviting businesses across Chicago to donate surplus and overstock items to Chicago teachers to enhance the learning experience of thousands of students at their fall Swap Circle for Teachers . Donation Drop-Off Days are August 20-22, from 10am to 4pm at Rockwell on the River, 3031 N. Rockwell in the Avondale neighborhood. Teachers can “shop for free” from the donations on Friday and Saturday, August 24-25, from 10am to 4pm, also at Rockwell on the River. The list of “Most Wanted Items” including Paper (all kinds), Office Supplies, Arts + Crafts, Fabric, Tools, Hardware, Musical instruments, is on the CCRx website, www.creativechirx.org.
