Chicago Public Schools is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with its #ThankATeacher Campaign to show gratitude to our teachers for educating our students and helping them reach their full potential each and every day. As part of the campaign, CPS created a Teacher Appreciation Week toolkit that provides templates, guidance and inspiration for ways parents, students and school communities can show their appreciation for Chicago’s educators. The #ThankATeacher campaign during Teacher Appreciation Week will celebrate and honor our teachers throughout the city. All Chicagoans are encouraged to participate by:

• Using the hashtag #ThankATeacher and tagging @chipubschools to highlight your favorite teachers. 

• Creating a short video or photo thanking a teacher.

• Sending your teacher a thank you note or a small token of appreciation.

• Visiting CPS.edu/blog to check out more ways to celebrate.
