Beginning Tuesday, June 7th, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA) is excited to bring back Tuesdays on the Terrace for the first time since 2019. Hosted by Al Carter Bey of WDCB 90.9 FM and featuring a different local Chicago jazz musician each week, the live jazz program will take place every Tuesday from June 7 to August 31 from 5:30- 8:00 PM. Tickets will be available on the MCA website starting Wednesday, May 25th. Admission for Tuesdays on the Terrace is free and walk-up tickets are available.  Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis; there are no pre-reserved seating options. In the event of rain, the event will move indoors to the Edlis Neeson Theater on the museum’s first floor. The 2022 presentation of Tuesdays on the Terrace is organized by MCA curatorial assistant Laura Paige Kyber with program advisors Al Carter Bey, Steve Saltzman, and Mwata Bowden. Tuesdays on the terrace is made possible in part by a generous gift from the Luminarts Cultural Foundation, supported by Cherilyn Murer.
