Angelica Alfaro Joins IHCC as Director of Government and Community Affairs

The Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced Angelica Alfaro as the Director of Government & Community Affairs. Alfaro will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Latino leaders in Illinois, elected officials, community and nonprofit organizations, and partners.  “We are very fortunate to welcome Angelica to our team. As a chamber, our primary goal is to represent the interests of small business owners in Illinois, and we are confident that Alfaro will play a significant role in helping us expand our reach to those who can assist us in making a positive difference in the lives of our business communities,” IHCC President and CEO Jaime di Paulo said.  Alfaro boasts over 15 years of experience working to improve access to high-quality education, scholarships, and economic development opportunities for thousands of families across Illinois. Her leadership in government relations, policy, fundraising, community organizing, and advocacy has left an indelible mark on the city’s landscape.
