ComEd is excited to announce the return of its annual EV Rally, a one-of-a-kind summer program where young women team up to build and race electric go-carts with the support of ComEd mentors. Open to young women in Illinois from ages 13 to 18, the EV Rally offers participants hands-on STEM experience, professional networking, and a $2,000 scholarship. The two-week program concludes with students racing the electric vehicles they built at Chicago’s Griffin Museum of Science and Industry on July 26. This is one of the many ways ComEd is fostering the next generation of energy talent by providing local students with hands-on opportunities to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Applications are open now through Sunday, June 1, at ComEd.com/STEM.
