Lincoln Park Zoo’s premier philanthropy event returns on Friday, July 11 as the Women’s Board hosts Zoo Ball: The Serpentine Soirée. This year’s gala is inspired by the African rock python and highlights the zoo’s commitment to protecting reptiles and other wildlife from trafficking. Zoo Ball: The Serpentine Soirée will take inspiration from the zoo’s dedication to combating the illegal animal trade, while drawing on the beauty of the snake for the event’s décor. Set to the sounds of live music, the evening will also feature unique cocktails, creative cuisine, and dancing. The annual black-tie event—now in its 48th year—is a longstanding fixture of Chicago’s summer social calendar. Zoo Ball: The Serpentine Soirée takes place on Friday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Lincoln Park Zoo. To sponsor the event or purchase a table, visit lpzoo.org/zooball.
