Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias announced 13 DMV locations will begin offering walk-in Saturday hours through September 6th.  With the end of summer approaching, many Illinoisans are rushing to finish their summer checklists. To help reduce weekday wait times and increase the number of residents the DMV can serve in August, the office is expanding the number of locations open on Saturdays.  These locations will serve walk-in customers from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering a variety of express services ranging from renewing driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations to acquiring a REAL ID.  The following locations are open on Saturdays for walk-ins:

• Addison – 50 E. Oak St., Addison, IL 60101

• Aurora – 970 N. Lake St. Suite B, Aurora, IL 60506

• Bridgeview – 7358 W. 87th St., Bridgeview, IL 60455

• Chicago Heights – 570 W. 209th St., Chicago Heights, IL 60411

• Chicago West – 5301 W. Lexington St., Chicago, IL 60644

• Des Plaines – 1470 Lee St., Des Plaines, IL 60018

• Elgin – 595 S. State St., Elgin, IL 60123

• Joliet – 201 S. Joyce Road, Joliet, IL 60435

• Lake Zurich – 951 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047

• Melrose Park – 1903 N. Mannheim Road, Melrose Park, IL 60160
