The American Red Cross of Illinois welcomes Anabel Monge as its new Communications Manager. Monge will lead communications and media relations efforts across the Illinois region. With more than two decades of trusted journalism and storytelling experience, Monge most recently served as a news anchor at Telemundo Chicago for 10 years. Her dedication to impactful, community-centered reporting has earned her 12 Emmy Awards, underscoring her reputation as a respected voice in journalism. Monge’s expertise in Spanish-language media and multicultural communications will strengthen the Red Cross’s efforts to connect with and serve diverse communities across Illinois. In her new role, she will help spotlight the stories of Red Cross volunteers, donors, and families impacted by the organization’s humanitarian mission.
