The Little Village – 26th Street Area Chamber of Commerce (LVCC) is pleased to announce that its 54th Annual Mexican Independence Day Parade will kick-off at noon on Sunday, September 14, 2025, featuring the theme “Orgullo y Poder: Our Strength, Our Legacy.” Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) will serve as Parade Grand Marshal for this milestone celebration. Despite recent challenges and rising tensions affecting Latino and immigrant communities nationwide, the Chamber reaffirms its unwavering commitment to this cherished tradition that draws more than 400,000 attendees to Little Village’s vibrant commercial corridor.

When: Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM

Where: Kicking off at the historic Little Village Arch (26th Street and Albany Avenue), proceeding east along 26th Street to Kostner Avenue
