Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) is proud to announce that the Fall registration is now open for the GROW/PROGRESANDO Entrepreneurial Training Center’s no-cost, virtual 5 Week Program. The weekly program, available in English and Spanish, offers business education to beginner entrepreneurs in Chicago and nationwide. Registration for both English and Spanish sessions is available at RPBA.org. The GROW/PROGRESANDO 5 Week Program focuses on the foundations of developing a business, from honing a business plan to understanding the ever-changing business environment. Training subjects include Business Model Development, Entity Selection, Business Formation, Budget Development, Pricing Strategies, Business and Personal Financial Planning, Risk Management, and more. The training cohorts are private and confidential, providing entrepreneurs with a secure space to focus on starting their businesses. At the end of the program, an “Idea Contest” is held for participants to present business ideas and receive constructive feedback from a panel of local business owners, community leaders, funders, bankers, and stakeholders. The winners from each program receive a $500 prize sponsored by Wintrust to help them continue to grow their business idea.
