Illinois State Representative Eva-Dina Delgado received the Leadership in the Public Sector award at the 2025 March of Dimes Construction & Transportation Awards Luncheon at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago on Friday.  This prestigious award recognizes outstanding public sector leaders whose work has had a meaningful impact on communities, infrastructure, and public welfare. At the event, Rep. Delgado joined fellow honorees in being celebrated for service, vision, and commitment to our communities. “I am deeply honored to be recognized by the March of Dimes and join a distinguished group of honorees,” said Rep. Delgado. “This award lifts up the work of elected officials, advocates, and residents to invest in public transit, protect our most vulnerable populations, and build healthier, more resilient communities across Illinois.” Rep. Delgado has long championed infrastructure investment, equitable community development, and policies that advance public safety and economic opportunity. She is currently leading efforts in the Illinois House of Representatives to avert the transit fiscal cliff, achieve sustainable and equitable funding, and reform governance to provide better service to customers.
