Roosevelt University will host the 2025 American Dream Reconsidered Conference from Monday, October 20 through Thursday, October 23, featuring a series of in-person and virtual panels examining the meaning and future of the American Dream through the lens of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt’s enduring legacy. The multi-day conference will bring together scholars, activists, artists, and public officials to reflect on themes of democracy, social justice, labor, and international cooperation. The event coincides with Roosevelt University’s 80th anniversary and marks a moment to reconsider how the Roosevelt-era ideals of equity and opportunity can shape the nation’s future.
