This November, in recognition of Youth Homelessness Awareness Month, Covenant House Illinois (CHIL) will host its annual Sleep Out at the CME Center on November 20, joining thousands of participants across the country who will give up their beds for one night to stand in solidarity with youth facing homelessness. The event, supported by corporate partners, including Accenture, Cisco, and Ulta Beauty, is part of a national movement led by Covenant House sites in more than 30 cities. Sleep Out participants spend the night outdoors sleeping on cardboard and sleeping bags to raise awareness and critical funds that support young people overcoming homelessness and trafficking. Right now, CHIL is offering a special matching gift opportunity to maximize the impact of every donation. All Sleep Out gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $500 per gift, while matching funds last. Community members, companies, and individuals can join Sleep Out Chicago or donate to support the cause at www.sleepout.org/chicago.
