Last weekend’s snowstorm turned Lincoln Park Zoo into a winter wonderland! Plains zebras Mike and Simon enjoyed a snowman in their habitat, thanks to their amazing animal keepers. Snow acts as natural enrichment for animals by altering their habitat with new textures, sights, and smells to explore. The snow also turned the magic up to 11 at ZooLights Presented by Invesco QQQ and ComEd, with 3 million lights twinkling against the fresh powder across zoo grounds. Guests of all ages delighted in the festive experience. And with more snow in the 10-day forecast, it looks like ZooLights will be the place to be for Chicagoans looking to get into the holiday spirit.
