The Salvation Army, The Boeing Company and the Chicago Bears hosted Operation Warmth in the Humboldt Park community last Friday providing winter coats to many residents at The Salvation Army Freedom Center, 825 N. Christiana Ave. The Boeing Company provided a sponsorship that allowed The Salvation Army to purchase 400 new coats for adults and children. Volunteers from The Boeing Company and the Chicago Bears joined Salvation Army staff to distribute the coats to residents who pre-registered for the handout.
