Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Health

Amidst low COVID-19 and flu activity in recent weeks, Cook County Department of Public Health, in conjunction with Cook County Health and CountyCare, will offer four more Saturday vaccination clinics for the season until March 28. Despite low flu and minimal COVID-19 activity, it is not unusual to see another wave of flu in the spring. Flu season typically runs from October through May and peaks between December and February. Walk-ins are welcome at the Saturday vaccination clinics, and no appointment is needed. Vaccinations are available for everyone 6 months and older, regardless of insurance or immigration status. The vaccination clinics will convene from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

March 14: Cottage Grove Health Center, 1645 South Cottage Grove Ave., Ford Heights, IL 60401

March 21: North Riverside Health Center, 1800 South Harlem Ave., Suite A, North Riverside, IL

March 28: Arlington Heights Health Center,3250 North Arlington Heights Road, Suite 300, Arlington Heights, IL
