The Art of Business: Making a Living from your Music a New Panel Discussion Series

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationThe Chicago Sinfonietta presents a free monthly discussion series offering insight from industry professionals to continue to provide an overview on the different aspects of the profession and to nourish a vibrant music community in Chicago. The discussions are held at the Rudy Lozano Branch, 1805 S. Loomis St., of the Chicago Public Library in Pilsen on Thursdays at 6pm, beginning this week on February 7. The series is free and open to the public. Each panel discussion is followed by Q&A and an opportunity for networking.

Musicians and artists of all levels are encouraged to attend. As an incentive, attendees are encouraged to submit a ‘demo’ or proposal at any session for consideration to perform with the Chicago Sinfonietta and Sones de México Ensemble on August 15 at the UNO Veterans Memorial Campus.
