The Chicago Park District’s Austin Town Hall Park, 5610 W. Lake St., is among 10 nation-wide worthy community houses selected to potentially receive the makeover of a lifetime through renovation projects of up to $50,000. The program, “Drops of Good,” is sponsored by Maxwell House coffee a Kraft Foods Company and Rebuilding Together, a leading nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable home ownership and revitalize neighborhoods by providing extensive rehabilitation.
