The Berwyn Police Department will be issuing additional citations for the upcoming Fourth of July Holiday. This campaign will feature a combination of high visibility enforcement with a variety of outreach activities. Additional emphasis will be given to the late-night hours when statistics show the highest rate of people drinking and driving and the fewest buckling up. The Berwyn Police Department will be conducting a safety enforcement zone on 06/24/2011 at Cermak and Wenonah. The Berwyn Police Department is stepping up late-night enforcement efforts making sure impaired drivers are off the road and motorists are buckled up.
