Centro de Salud Esperanza Receives Operating Grant

Centro de Salud Esperanza announced that it has received a $2,500 grant from the MB Financial Charitable Foundation, a subsidiary of Chicago-based MB Financial Bank, for general operating expenses. The funds will be utilized to provide comprehensive health care and wellness services to uninsured and under-insured residents of Esperanza’s primary service area: Little Village, Pilsen, Archer Heights, Gage Park and Cicero. “We are so happy to have the support of local institutions like MB Financial as we work to improve the health of Chicago’s Latino neighborhoods,” said Dan Fulwiler, Esperanza’s CEO. “At MB, we’re committed to making a difference in the communities we serve,” said Mitch Feiger, president, MB Financial Bank. “For us, we’re more than a bank. We’re a community partner that’s focused on the well-being of the neighborhoods where we do business.” Esperanza’s health services include pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, midwifery, and obstetrics and gynecology.
