The Illinois Municipal Police Association Local 1, Berwyn Police Officer’s Union, awarded a scholarship to Morton College student Jhoselin Diaz at Morton College’s Scholarship Award Convocation May 26 at Morton College. For the third year in a row, the Illinois Municipal Police Association has presented a Morton College student, who is majoring in law enforcement, with a scholarship to assist them with tuition obligations as they proceed towards their Law Enforcement degree. Diaz will attend Morton College in the fall to study criminal justice. Her career goal is to become a detective. Making the presentation of the scholarship to Diaz was IMPA Vice-President James Sassetti.
