Centro de Salud Esperanza will be holding a health fair for the community on Sunday, Aug. 7th from 11am to 3pm. The health fair, entitled “Esperanza Extravaganza 2011” is expected to attract over 100 families. The event will feature health screenings, health education, prize giveaways and fun-filled family activities including: a petting zoo, live horses, Jumping Jack, physical activity course, and face painting. Families attending “Esperanza Extravaganza 2011” will have the opportunity to receive screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.
