Individuals who are either presently working or looking for work are eligible to apply for the Training for Tomorrow Grant in electronic medical records (EMR). The EMR job outlook is very good and expected to grow through 2018. This may be part that there is a shortage of qualified allied health personnel and because all health care facilities must have an EMR system in place by 2014. Tuition, cost of books and job placement are included. The grants are made possible, in part, by the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and National Latino Education Institute (NLEI).
