Government Contracting for Women Business Owners

 Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - BusinessWomen Business Enterprises (WBEs) seeking to do business within the public sector should attend, “Government Contracting: What WBEs Need to Know to be Successful,” a regional workshop presented by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC). The event will be held on Thursday, August 11, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at PepsiCo, Inc., 555 W. Monroe St., in Chicago. Host sponsor is PepsiCo, Inc.
WBEs will learn how to leverage the new program to improve, elevate and enhance their company’s benefits to contracting officers and corporate buyers; locate viable direct government contractors or as a sub to prime corporate contractors; and maximize their competitive position by effectively connecting to decision makers and successfully building relationships.
