St. Augustine College’s Soccer Team Wins Fiesta Del Sol Tournament

Playing at the Benito Juarez High School soccer field on Saturday, July 30th, St. Augustine College beat the ADA soccer team in the championship game of the First Annual Fiesta Del Sol Soccer Tournament. The final score was 5-3. St. Augustine’s goals were scored Juan Carlos Zamudio (1) and Hector Trujillo (4). The tournament included six teams from Latino organizations in the Chicago area, including Alivio Medical Center, Projecto Resurreccion, ADA, Benito Juarez High school and Atletico Chicago. “This was a good tournament and an exciting championship game. Congratulations to all the teams and to our players for a great win,” said Andrew C.
