Marquette Bank Employees Host 6th Annual PINKnic to Support Breast Cancer Research

 Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - HealthMarquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, held its 6th Annual Marquette Bank Employee PINKnic to raise money for breast cancer research and the American Cancer Society. The pink-themed, employee-organized picnic held at the Bank’s Corporate Center in Orland Park officially launched Marquette Bank’s efforts to raise money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, where Marquette Bank will be a flagship sponsor. This year’s South Suburban walk will be held October 16th 2011 at Centennial Park in Orland Park.

Over the past ten years, employees of Marquette Bank have raised nearly $85,000 for the American Cancer Society through fundraising and participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. The 2011 South Suburban Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk will be held in Orland Park on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Centennial Park with registration at 8 am.
