McDonald’s to Host Free Workshop at Farragut Career Academy

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationMcDonald’s is joining the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) for the fifth consecutive year to present ten HSF Steps for Success College Workshops sponsored by McDonald’s® on Saturdays at high schools across the country. The free bilingual college workshops featuring education experts are designed to provide students and parents with essential information on how to navigate the college application process.

The local HSF Steps for Success College Workshop will be held from 8:30am on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Farragut Career Academy, 2435 S. Christiana Ave. and is open to parents and students in grades 9 through 12. The day’s activities will include seminars on the college application process, applying for financial aid, and college scholarships. The day will conclude with a college fair featuring community colleges and four-year universities.
