The Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) participated in the grand opening ceremony for the PCC South Family Health Center (PCC), which was held on September 20. The ribbon cutting celebrated the redevelopment of a vacant building at 6201 W. Roosevelt Road into a comprehensive health care facility, featuring a spacious reception and patient waiting area, eleven exam rooms, three conference rooms, a behavioral health suite and dental suite. This is the newest of ten locations in Chicagoland.

Mayor Robert J. Lovero stated, “Roosevelt Road has had the good fortune of attracting investment from the federal, state and local government as well as private sources. We’ve been successful working on many issues, including transportation with our new streetscape efforts, and now PCC is bringing our residents critical and affordable access to high quality health care. Berwyn has great things happening.” The new PCC South Family Health Center will allow PCC to expand the medical capacity from 9,500 patient visits to more than 20,000 patient visits annually.
