Monday, October 3:
Women’s Cancer Support Group – This free program offered by the oncology department of Lakefront Medical Associates provides support to those coping with cancer. The event will take place the first and third Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Lakefront Medical Associates Oncology Suite at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Tuesday, October 4:

Wednesday, October 5:
Grief Support Group – This Season’s Hospice & Palliative Care-sponsored group supports people who have lost a loved one and are working through the grieving process. The group will meet the first Wednesday every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Season’s Hospice Conference Room (3rd floor, C elevators) at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Thursday, October 6:
Exercise with Weiss – This program, sponsored by Home Health of Illinois and Lincolnwood Place Retirement Community, is taught by a physical therapist and includes basic stretching and some light weight lifting.
