Diego El Cigala is contemporary Flamenco’s most compelling voice. A true Gitano, his mother and father were both accomplished practitioners of Flamenco as were his grandparents. At the age of 12 he placed first among young vocalists at the prestigious Certamen Flamenco Joven De Getafe competition beginning his professional career.
