City Colleges of Chicago Offers $50,000 in Centennial Scholarships

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationTo celebrate 100 years of education in Chicago, City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) announces the launch of its Centennial Scholarship program, totaling $50,000 in tuition and fee assistance for new and existing CCC students planning to earn an associate degree or professional certificate. To be eligible for a Centennial Scholarship, applicants must be carrying (or plan to carry) at least 12 credit hours per semester at City Colleges. Two brief essays and one letter of recommendation are required for the application. Completed applications are due by November 18th. All scholarship recipients will be honored at a CCC Centennial event this winter.
