Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationEaster Seals Gilchrist Marchman Child Development Center is an educational and social competence program for children from six weeks to five years old from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. The program values the gifts that all young children bring into the center culture. Each year the Center proudly supports over 22 family-home languages. Children of all abilities are welcome. The center is family focused with rich opportunities for parent involvement. Easter Seals Gilchrist Marchman Child Development Center is the only dually CARF and NAEYC accredited programs under the new era of standards with a Quality Rating System Level 3 (3 Stars), from Illinois. Our bi-lingual teachers maintain individualized, digital classroom portfolios on all children based on the learning domains. The Center has a several urban playgrounds, green space for soccer and gardening and weekly dance and karate classes. Registration is currently in process.
