Rain did not delay the celebration of Neighborhood Sports Little Village (NSLV), World Sport Chicago (WSC), for Little Village residents who came together Thursday evening at Farragut Academy. New lights were installed at the track and field on the east side of the high school that will allow more community members to safely enjoy the space. Neighborhood Sports Little Village (NSLV) and World Sport Chicago (WSC) collaborated to bring new stadium lights to the track and field on the Farragut Career Academy with help from Aldridge Electric, which performed the installation, and Com Ed, which assisted through an energy audit that helped make sure the new systems would be efficient.
