Association House Offers Certified Medical Assistant Program

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - EducationIn order to become a Certified Medical Assistant you must first pass a college entrance exam. This exam may be a very difficult task for many students, and may at times become very expensive. Between the cost of private tutors and college entrance exam fees, many are often unable to afford their dream of joining the medical field. To help students navigate and make the entrance exam process more accessible, Association House of Chicago has started a 16-week pre-medical assistant course that focuses on improving students’ reading, writing and mathematical skills. Orientations take place on each Friday at 1:45 p.m. at the Association House of Chicago, 1116 North Kedzie Avenue 5th Floor.
