Berwyn Police Department Honors Two Courageous Officers

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsLast month, Berwyn Police Officers responded to a call of smoke coming from a house located in the 3800 block of Oak Park Avenue. On arrival, Officer Jim Tadrowski, with assistance from Division Commander Mike Cimaglia, verified the working fire from the house and immediately attempted to make contact with any residents of the building. Due to their heroic efforts, Mayor Robert Lovero and the Berwyn Police Department held a ceremony at the Berwyn City Council meeting on December 27 that honored Ofc. Tadrowski and Division Commander Cimaglia. “The herioic efforts displayed by these two officers exemplify the true dedication, courage, and professionalism of all the men and women of the Berwyn Police and Fire Departments who perform their services to the community on a daily basis,” said Mayor Lovero.
