Are you smarter than a 6th grader? Having been out of school for many years, assisting with their teen’s math homework or preparing for a GED exam might be a daunting task for some adults. The Math Spot (themathspot.com), 3100 S. Oak Park Ave. Suite 2N, was founded in Berwyn’s Depot District neighborhood to bring tutoring and exam preparation services to Berwyn’s middle school, junior high and high school students as well as area adult students and educators.

Opened just in time for the 2011-2012 school year last September, The Math Spot, the first tutoring center in the City of Berwyn, offers adolescent students one-on-one tutoring, homework help, and Math Lab in a group-setting. The center also offers preparatory instruction for high school placement exams, ACT college admission exams, and Basic Skills tests for teachers. In partnership with the BDC, The Math Spot held a grand opening celebration on January 23, 2012.
