Rush University Medical Center is offering a free heart health event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11. The program will be held on the Rush campus at the Searle Conference Center, located on the fifth floor of the Professional Building at 1725 W. Harrison St., Chicago, Room 542 Brainard. Heart disease continues to be the number one killer of Americans and a major cause of disability. The free heart event at Rush will feature ten speakers presenting on several topics including heart failure, diabetes, stroke, cholesterol and vascular disease.
