Chipotle Mexican Grill is the third grand opening at the new Berwyn Gateway Plaza located at the intersection of Cermak Road and Harlem Avenue. Chipotle Mexican Grill, the national restaurant company that is changing the way people think about and eat fast food, opened its newest location in Berwyn, IL on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 7140 West Cermak Road. The restaurant will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Like all Chipotle restaurants, the new location will offer a focused menu of burritos, burrito bowls (a burrito without the tortilla), salads, tacos and a new kid’s menu.

The Berwyn Gateway Plaza development anticipates the opening of three additional businesses in the coming months, including Verizon Wireless, Play N Trade and Five Guys. Mayor Robert Lovero stated, “Chipotle is a welcome addition to Cermak Road and the City of Berwyn. Their presence will be a major factor in the success of this new development.” Anthony Griffin, BDC executive director, continued, “Chipotle also has a solid track record of promoting their managers from within which brings new opportunities to Berwyn residents.”
