Chicago Teens Show Off Their Skills At After School Matters 7th Annual Citywide Showcase

    More than 200 teens from across the city will come together for the culmination of their spring programs during the seventh-annual After School Matter Citywide Showcase at the legendary Chicago Theatre.

    The city’s talented teens will proudly debut their accomplishments with dance performances from Kuumba Lynx Urban Dance Projex, Hip Hop Dance Ensemble, Move Me Soul and Madder Rhythms programs.

    The show’s finale will feature a tribute to the late Maggie Daley, founder and former chair of After School Matters.

When:

    Tuesday, March 27, 2012 – DRESS REHEARSAL
    5:30 – 6:15 p.m. – B-roll of dress rehearsal performances, no inverviews
    Wednesday, March 28, 2012 – CITYWIDE SHOWCASE
    5:00 p.m. – Media arrival and check-in
    5:30 – 6:15 p.m. – Pre-scheduled interviews
    5:30 = 6:15 p.m. – B-roll of guests at reception and gallery
    6:30 p.m. – coverage of teen performance and speaking program
