State Representative Lisa Hernandez and Bishop James Wilkowski of The Evangelical Catholic Diocese of the Northwest joined together to bring much needed services to the residents of the Manteno Veterans Home. Rep. Hernandez gifted Bishop Wilkowski with a donation to the veterans home Tuesday evening in order to provide 291 residents who are in need of men’s toiletries, tube socks, and paperback books, to name a few. Bishop Wilkowski will distribute the gifts on Easter Sunday when he celebrates Easter Sunday Mass at the home.
