In Our Voices: Profiles of Courage

 Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsIn an unprecedented collaboration, the Illinois Holocaust Museum and the Pritzker Military Library present a powerful conversation between veterans from World War II, Vietnam, and the Iraq/Afghanistan conflicts. The program will be presented on two consecutive days, at two different locations. Among the panelists, is Rodrigo Garcia a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs. Garcia was appointed Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs by Governor Pat Quinn on October 11, 2011. Reservations are required.
