Comcast Cares Day Volunteers Give Back to Little Village Community

Lawndale News Chicago's Bilingual Newspaper - Local NewsDuring Comcast Cares Day on April 21, a total of 52 employees, family and friends gathered at Erie Neighborhood House to volunteer their time cleaning and painting the facility and sprucing up the grounds. This year, Comcast in Illinois, NW Indiana and SW Michigan had 7,045 volunteers who contributed more than 42,000 hours of service at more than 84 sites in the communities. Volunteer Jacob Bell, 4, who is the son of Joe Bell, Technical Director for Comcast, concentrates on his brush strokes as he paints a door at Erie Neighborhood House at the 11th Annual Comcast Cares Day.
